Dina Lohan: Lindsay's Apartment Check-Up

Looking after things while her daughter continues her stint in rehab, Dina Lohan was spotted leaving Lindsay’s apartment earlier this week.Joined by Lilo’s good friend and rumored fling, Eilat Anschel, Dina emerged from the digs and the two quickly hopped into a waiting limo.
Having gone directly from the jailhouse to a rehab facility earlier this week, Dina was, at last, able to connect with her daughter. She recently told MTV News, "I was finally able to hug my daughter [last night] after two long weeks of speaking to her from behind a glass wall. Lindsay is doing well, and is appreciative of the hundreds of well-wishes she has received."

Word has it, the “Mean Girls” actress will spend around 90-days in the UCLA rehab program, followed by a year of probation in which she will be randomly tested for drugs.

Lauren Conrad to Launch New Clothing Line

Lauren Conrad is ready to re-enter the fashion scene.
After halting production of her first clothing line last year amidst the recession and a bleak retail landscape, LC has a new contemporary collection underway.

With the affordable Lauren Conrad Collection already being sold at Kohl’s, the former star of The Hills is starting a new line with several of her best friends.

“It’s a contemporary women’s line,” she said. “Where Kohl’s is a lot of daywear, it’s a lot of basics. This will be more specialty basics, more of a boutique line."

"It will be at a higher price point. It will be very different.”

Lauren Conrad's California style is a hit with teens and adults alike.

While the 24-year-old said her new collection is just getting started, but she can’t contain her excitement when it comes to working on a line all on her own.“It’s one thing to work with a huge retailer like Kohl’s and there is so much you get to do, but there is a little more of a thrill of doing it yourself,” she said.
With greater responsibility and pressure comes greater reward, a fact that the budding designer is somewhat intimidated by, but mostly excited about.
Adds LC, who's also planning a new novel series, “It’s a lot more work, and it’s more stressful, but it’s something I love doing so I’m looking forward to it.”

Enjoying the gorgeous west coast summer weather, Britney Spears was spotted cooling down with an iced coffee at a Starbucks in Calabasas, California on Monday (August 2).
Joined by her trusty bodyguard, the "Gimme More" singer donned a purple tank top sans bra, cut-off jean shorts and a pair of purple flip-flops as she arrived at The Commons shopping center for her routine java run.
Keeping things interesting, Brit Brit offered up a range of wacky facial expressions for paparazzi on the way back to her car following the Starbucks stop.
In related news, the “Toxic” singer’s producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins recently revealed that new Spears tunes will be hitting the airwaves in the not-too-distant futures.
Darkchild explained, “Britney fans are gonna be so happy in a few weeks,” though he didn’t expound on his statement or offer any specifics.
