Enjoying a leisurely Columbus Day holiday, Britney Spears dropped by Starbucks in Calabasas, CA on Monday (October 11).Sporting an unkempt hairdo, the "Gimme More" singer flashed a big smile as she cheerfully picked up a caffeine beverage alongside her trusty security staffer.
Currently in the midst of putting together a new album, recent reports from E! tell that Miss Spears' team recently gathered an ensemble of top music minds in Dallas to put together material for the pop star.
Talking about the disc, OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder said, "It's mind-bendy and trippy. I applaud the label for saying, 'We're not going to do what's always been done.' I think Britney's such an innovator. She needs to be in the forefront, you know what I mean? You can't come out with something sounding like someone else."

Only planning a short stay, Khloe took to her website to explain her decision to pass up on a full-time role in her sister's new spinoff reality show being shot in the Big Apple over the next six weeks.
The 26-year-old tells, "I'm definitely sad to be missing out on the city fun with my sisters, but I'm a married girl and I couldn't just pick up and move to New York. I'll definitely be in a few episodes here and there because I'm still very much involved in the opening of the store -- I'm just doing it on my time according to my schedule."
Miss Kardashian adds, "Initially I was asked to do the New York show with Kourtney but this just wasn't the right time for me. Right now my primary focus is keeping myself and my husband happy and focusing on some other business ventures."
Bringing an end to the week as she continues to relish her recent rehab release, Lindsay Lohan was ever the busy girl in Los Angeles on Friday (August 26).To kick things off, the "Georgia Rule" babe made her way to a Santa Monica courthouse in a surprisingly casual ensemble of cut-off shorts and a flannel shirt sans bra. Switching up her look later in the day, Miss Lohan proceeded onward while sipping a sugar free Rockstar energy drink as she arrived at FOX studios for a business meeting to close out the afternoon.
And while she seems on the up and up, TMZ sources tell that LiLo is already being hit up by her bad influence friends - as the supposed pals are said to be desperately trying to "snake their way back into her life."

The photo op comes just as Jess happens to be the covergirl of the coveted September issue of Cosmopolitan magazine.
Dishing on married life during the interview, she tells, "The romantic stuff comes and goes, but it's like, does that person have your back? You have to be a team navigating through wherever life may lead you and I want a friend for that."

During the course of the evening, Taylor enjoyed time alongside his "Twilight" co-stars Robert Pattinson and Ashley Greene while Megan sat with husband Brian Austin Green.
Performing hosting duties this year was Katy Perry, who was joined by the guys of "Glee," including Chris Coifer, Kevin McHale, Cory Monteith and Mark Salling.
