Things took a turn for the worse today for Lindsay Lohan, who was handcuffed and taken into custody this morning, after judge Marsha revoked her probation for failing a drug test earlier this week. According to TMZ:As for Lindsay’s reaction … she was shocked when the judge remanded her into custody. Lindsay looked at her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holly, before being taken out of the courtroom.
It is still unknown how long Lindsay Lohan will spend behind bars this time, but hopefully it will be longer than the three weeks she served in the very recent past. I don’t wish her bad, not at all! But hopefully this second round in the big house will teach her a lesson and keep her away from drugs forever. I just hate to see such a beautiful girl waste her life away by becoming a junkie.

Lindsay Lohan actually has a chance of beating the rap for her failed drug tests and apparent probation violations after catching a break, according to a TMZ report.The second test Lindsay failed last week showed a positive reading for Adderall, but the L.A. County Probation Department is not recommending jail time for that.
Even more significantly, the Probation Department wants her in the slammer for 30 day for the first failed drug test, indicating a positive reading for cocaine.
Here's the thing. If Judge Elden Fox sentences her to 30 days in jail for the cocaine violation, Lindsay would likely be released the same day due to overcrowding.
That's typical for a non-violent offender, but we saw how effective her early release was last time, and come on. At this point, it's embarrassing for the system.
Judge Fox's other option is to deny bail, throw her in jail and schedule a hearing within 30 days. Basically, she'd have to sit in a cell for a month waiting.
Once the hearing arrived, she'd likely be sentenced and then released immediately due to overcrowding or time served, but that's exactly the point being made.
The judge would really be sticking it to Lindsay Lohan by pulling that, but it happens frequently when one wants to make sure a defendant actually does time.
After all, once she's in jail, it's in the hands of the correctional facility. Will the judge stand firm on this one or let her stake? Friday should be very interesting.

It hasn’t been a good day for Lindsay Lohan. She has failed a second drug test that involved amphetamines and a judge has issued a warrant for her arrest.
Superior Court Judge Elden Fox issued the bench warrant in Beverly Hills, but Lohan will remain free pending a Friday court hearing, according to officials from Los Angeles County Superior Court.
It is so obvious this chick is sick and needs help, and frankly the fact that her mother keeps insisting she is fine so she can keep working and taking care of the family makes me ill.
Lindsay Lohan admitted today that she failed one of her drug abuse tests, and her probation officer found traces of cocaine in her pee. Lindsay, who has to pee in a cup every single morning, was not enough to stay away from cocaine, and apparently thought she could outsmart the system.
In all reality, she failed not one, but two drug screening tests and she may end up back in the big house for her efforts. At least she is aware of her big fuckup, and she wrote on her Twitter stream today:Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result.
Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn’t go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every day. I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future.
This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I’m prepared to face the consequences.
I am so thankful for the support of my fans, loved ones and immediate family, who understand that i am trying hard, but also that I am a work in progress, just as anyone else. I am keeping my faith, and I am hopeful….Thank you all!!
Lindsay Lohan seems to have realized her life is a disaster, and to “fix” this, she has decided to have a baby! According to a close friend of Lindsay’s, the star of Mean Girls is determined to “stay sober and thinks the best way for her to achieve that goal is to get pregnant.” Lindsay wants to imitate what Nicole Richie did a few years ago: getting pregnant and subsequently getting her act together.
LiLo’s friend added: She needs to be around someone nearly 24 hours a day. She thinks having a baby could straighten out her life. As long as she doesn’t hit him with a car while the baby is in his stroller, it’s all good!

Bringing an end to the week as she continues to relish her recent rehab release, Lindsay Lohan was ever the busy girl in Los Angeles on Friday (August 26).To kick things off, the "Georgia Rule" babe made her way to a Santa Monica courthouse in a surprisingly casual ensemble of cut-off shorts and a flannel shirt sans bra. Switching up her look later in the day, Miss Lohan proceeded onward while sipping a sugar free Rockstar energy drink as she arrived at FOX studios for a business meeting to close out the afternoon.
And while she seems on the up and up, TMZ sources tell that LiLo is already being hit up by her bad influence friends - as the supposed pals are said to be desperately trying to "snake their way back into her life."
