Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have broken up. This much is certain.

Beyond the news of their split, rumors are running
rampant regarding just why this seemingly happy couple is no longer together. Did Liam cheat on Miley? Did a photo of Cyrus and Adam Sevani actually play a role in this demise? It's all speculation at this point.
Did Miley trade in Liam for Douglas Booth?But we wouldn't be doing our jobs if we didn't report on every possible explanation, so behold the latest:

A bartender in Waterford, Michigan tells Hollywood Life he spotted Miley and LOLco-star Douglas Booth flirting up a storm this week, three days before the break-up with Hemsworth was made official.

“It looked like Miley was very interested in [Douglas],” the witness says. “I thought they were boyfriend and girlfriend, they were flirting so much. She was really fawning all over him, acting really girly-girly. For his part, he seemed to be eating up the attention.”

Booth is an 18-year old British actor with no major American credits on his resume.

The anonymous bartender adds that the pair was out with castmates Ashley Greene and Tanz Watson and "the flirting was very respectful... they didn’t [kiss]. They were among friends and other people in the restaurant – but she was falling all over him."

Miley Cyrus "Furious" at Taylor Momsen Over Disney Diss

Miley Cyrus and Taylor Momsen may pretend as if they're especially mature 16 and 17-year olds, but at the end of the day, it's clear: they're just like any two feuding teenage girls.

It all started a couple weeks ago, when the Gossip Girl actress and The Pretty Reckless frontwoman implied that Miley was part of "Disney bubblegum shit" taking over the airwaves and said she was sick of comparisons between the pair.

In response to those comments, a source tells Heat magazine "Miley is furious." He added:

"She thought Taylor was pretty cool until this happened, which has left her totally confused. Taylor is so obviously desperate for fame. I mean, she's traipsing around town in her underwear, or is that for the love of the music too?"

Wait... did someone close to Miley Cyrus just accuse another artist of dressing scantily in order to make headlines? Excuse us while we laugh hysterically over such hypocrisy....

Perhaps Miley Cyrus and Taylor Momsen should both put clothes on and shut up.

This insider believes "Miley has always had a lot of talent,

and Taylor knows it. Taylor still sees her as a threat, which she is, although they're hardly in the same league."

It's difficult to take a side in this battle of underdressed, oversexed, self-centered singers. But Miley has spoken out often over the last year, expressing her disdain for musicals, vampires and other pop culture favorites. Her defenders always say to leave the girl alone, she's allowed to speak her mind.

Miley Cyrus Spotted Wearing Samantha Jones’ Dress

New York, NY (CNS) - Tween queen Miley Cyrus is appearing on the “Sex and the City” film sequel. The 17-year-old sensation was spotted on the film’s set in New York City on Friday.
Cyrus, who has been vocal in wanting to join a “younger, cleaner” version of the hit show-turned-film, was seen filming a cameo role with Kim Cattrall, who plays the foxy Samantha Jones.
She was spotted wearing a similar dress as Samantha at a premiere for the latter’s toy-boy lover’s new film.

They both wore a short silver dress with sequins, complimented with studded belt and knee-high boots. Cyrus had a studded dog collar and elbow-length gloves, while Cattrall donned an oversized necklace.
The duo shot their scene at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York with Sarah Jessica Parker, Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, and Jason Lewis.
“Sex and the City 2″ will be released May 2010.

VIDEO: Miley Reveals Why She Quit Twitter – Through Song

Miley Cyrus’ final Tweet on Thursday may have suggested that her recent decision to quit Twitter was influenced by a certain Australian costar and rumored love interest. But don’t blame Liam Hemsworth for the teen star’s decision to silence herself on the social media site.
In a new YouTube video, Cyrus, 16, speaks, well, sings out about her personal reasons for quitting. “Yeah, the rumors are true, I deleted my Twitter,” Cyrus raps in the backstage video – complete with choreography. “I had to say goodbye,” she continues, “and this little rap is to tell my fans why.”

Her reason? Simple! “I want my private life private,” she raps. “I’m living for me.”
When Cyrus deleted her official Twitter account on Thursday, her last Tweet referenced her The Last Song costar directly. “FYI Liam doesn’t have a Twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason,” she wrote at the time. Now, she clarifies in her song, “It wasn’t because my friend told me to. I stopped living for moments and started living for people.”

Even Billy Ray Wants Miley Cyrus To Come Back To Twitter

Fans aren’t alone in their hope that Miley Cyrus will one day come back to Twitter to share with the world her thoughts on John Mayer songs, Robert Pattinson and friendship. Billy Ray Cyrus has taken to Twitter to try to convince his superstar daughter to get back on the horse and start micro-blogging again.
“Miley. You are a light in a world of darkness. You were born ‘Destiny Hope Cyrus’ for a reason. You can’t leave everyone now. We r countin on u,” he tweeted late Thursday, after Miley had removed her account on Wednesday.

It is widely believed that Miley quit Twitter after her “The Last Song” co-star and rumored boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, asked her to. “FYI Liam doesn’t have a twttr & he wants ME 2 delete mine w/ gd reason,” she tweeted before deleting her account.
As of press time, “#mileycomeback” was still trending on Twitter, as fans tried to convince Miley, who had about 2 million followers and frequently tweeted with pals like Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez and Speidi, to tweet again. Billy Ray later wrote, “I understand ‘it is true one bad apple spoils the bunch.’ But listen to the words of your songs ‘Stand … for what ya believe in’ … Remember?”
Coincidentally, on the first day of Miley’s silence, the site was plagued by a bug that caused many Twitter timelines to be delayed. But the rest of the Cyrus family did their part to keep the site going, as Metro Station singer/guitarist Trace Cyrus tweeted, “Damn what’s with twitter acting all crazy?”
There’s been no official word from Miley or her camp about her reason for leaving the site.

Miley Cyrus deletes her Twitter account

Miley told her fans on Twitter that her rumored boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, did not have a Twitter account. She went on to say that Liam did not think she should have an account either.
Miley obviously took Liam’s suggestion very serious, and has deleted her Twitter account.  Her mom, Tish, has also deleted her account.  Wonder if Liam told mommy Tish she shouldn’t Twitter too?

This move definitely leads people to believe that there is more to her so-called friendship with Liam Hemsworth. If she did in fact do this for her “boyfriend”, it seems like he pulled a pretty controlling move.  If that’s the case, she really needs to be careful in this relationship. Let’s hope there was another reason that she decided to make this drastic desicion.
Miley’s Twitter presence will be missed by her fans.  The time that she took to answer questions and respond to her fans was awesome. Hopefully, she will change her mind at some point.

Judge calls Cyrus fan ‘a danger’

The man accused of stalking teen star Miley Cyrus is “a danger”, a municipal judge in Georgia has said.

Judge Steven Scheer made his remarks as he refused a request to lower Mark McLeod’s $55,200 (£33,814) bail bond.

“I can’t deny him bond,” the judge said on Tuesday, “but if I could I would, because I do feel he’s a danger.”

McLeod, 53, was arrested at his home earlier this month after repeatedly trying to contact the Hannah Montana actress on a film set near Savannah.

His defence attorney said McLeod was an unemployed assistant plumber and would probably remain in jail.

“He’s not a danger,” James Byrne told reporters. “He’s been painted as this monster, but he’s got a family.”

Proposal

Cyrus, 16, recently completed shooting her new film, The Last Song, at Tybee Island, east of Savannah.

McLeod is accused of going to the island twice in June and again in August asking where he could find her.

A police report said McLeod claimed he had met Cyrus 18 months earlier and that she had accepted his marriage proposal.

He is said to have told police that Cyrus’ father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, approved of their relationship and that Cyrus had sent him “secret messages” through her TV show.

“What he said I understand was unsettling to a lot of folks,” said Byrne. “But it doesn’t make him a stalker.”

Judge Scheer, of the Tybee Island Municipal Court, ruled there was sufficient evidence to send the case to Chatham County State Court, in Savannah.

McLeod, he said, had no chance of getting to Cyrus because of her security personnel but might be a threat to others.

Miley Cyrus’ Time Of Our Lives Cover Art Revealed

Miley Cyrus fans are getting a first look at her upcoming Time of Our Lives EP. The cover art for the disc (due August 31) has been released, and it shows a T-shirt-and-jeans-clad Cyrus holding a guitar, a similar look to the one she had in her video for “The Climb.” The EP will be available exclusively at Wal-Mart as a tie-in to her new clothing line with Max Azria.

Justjared.com has a preview of the seven-song EP, which features her current single, “Party in the USA,” as well as “Kicking and Screaming,” “Time of Our Lives,” “Talk Is Cheap” and “Obsessed.” Other songs include “When I Look at You,” which will also be on the soundtrack for her upcoming Nicholas Sparks-written movie “The Last Song,” as well as “Before the Storm,” a Teen Choice Award-winning duet with her on-again, off-again superstar boyfriend, Nick Jonas.

Back in June, Jonas talked to MTV News about the song, which is also featured on the Jonas Brothers’ album Lines, Vines and Trying Times. A week later, Jonas and Cyrus played the song together live onstage when she joined the JoBros at their world tour kickoff show in Dallas.

” ‘Before the Storm’ is probably one of my favorite songs on the record,” he said. “I think it’s probably one of my favorite songs because it has a great story to it. It’s a duet with Miley, which is great. It’s a good thing that happened and it’ll be a good one to play live.”

Cyrus ’stalker’ to face charges

A 53-year-old man who has been charged with attempting to stalk teen pop star and actress Miley Cyrus is to appear in a US court on Tuesday.

Mark McLeod was arrested earlier this month after trying to contact the 16-year-old while on a film set on Tybee Island, on Georgia’s coast.

He had been previously arrested in June on charges of attempted stalking, disorderly conduct and obstruction.

Cyrus finished work on new Disney film, The Last Song, last week.

Police said Mr McLeod visited Tybee Island twice in June looking for the Hannah Montana actress and tried to breach a security perimeter around the movie set.

“Secret messages”

Mr McLeod claimed he had met Cyrus 18 months earlier and that she had accepted his marriage proposal.

He is said to have told police that Cyrus’s father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, approved of their relationship and that Cyrus had sent him “secret messages” through her TV show.

He was arrested again on 4 August after security men reported he had returned to the beachside movie set.

Cyrus has become a global superstar since first appearing in Disney’s Hannah Montana TV show in 2006.

The singer embarks on her first UK tour later this year, beginning at London’s O2 Arena in December.

She is about to begin a 45-date north American tour which kicks off on 14 September in Oregon.
