Angelina Jolie Drug Photos: Will They Drive Brad Pitt Away?!

Whether she's promoting Salt, spending time with her family or drawing attention humanitarian causes far and wide, Angelina Jolie has looked amazing.

But could a new set photos that show her looking anything but spell the end of her relationship with Brad Pitt? We doubt it, but that's what Star alleges.

Eight quote-unquote never-before-seen graphic Angelina Jolie drug photos - taken by a friend who the star often got high with - have been released.

They are images that probably aren't even real she would probably like to forget, and Brad probably already knows about may not be able to forgive.

PHOTOS THAT WILL (PROBABLY NOT) TEAR THEM APART: Not unlike reports of Brad's flings with Jennifer Aniston, it's a good read, but we don't see it happening.

In one photo, the mother of six has black tape over her nipples and a dog leash around her neck. Other shocking pics her during a 14-hour heroin-smoking bender.

Says biographer Andrew Morton, author of Angelina: An Unauthorized Biography:

"The photographs are a startling reminder to Angelina of a period in her life I’m sure she wants to forget, a shady piece of her history that she’s kept hidden away."

A history guarded, Morton claims, "Even from Brad."

We're convinced. Stick a fork in 'em, they're done.

Pitt awarded for Orleans project

Film star Brad Pitt has been presented with an award recognising the green credentials of his housing project in New Orleans.

The actor, who was at Bill Clinton’s Global Initiative summit in New York, said the project, set up in 2007, has “exceeded my expectations”.
Pitt’s Make It Right organisation built 13 homes in an area of New Orleans ravaged by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
The houses have environmentally friendly features such as green roofs.

‘Greenest community’
Green roofs help cut the costs of heating and keep the houses cool during New Orleans’ hot summers.
In response to the award from the US Green Building Council, Pitt said: “We demanded that these homes be sustainable, that they have aesthetic qualities.”
He added they were also built with storm resilience, safety and affordability in mind.
The organisation’s plaque stated that Pitt’s foundation had created “the largest and greenest single family community in the world”.
The project is continuing, and Pitt’s goal is to have 150 homes up and running by next year.
Pitt, along with actress partner Angelina Jolie and their six children, have a home in the Louisiana city which was refurbished last year to accommodate their expanding family.

‘Inglourious Basterds’ rules the weekend box office

Score a personal best at the box office for Quentin Tarantino this weekend. Inglourious Basterds, his revisionist take on WWIIstarring Brad Pitt, grossed an estimated $37.6 million, besting the reigning box office champDistrict 9, and giving beleaguered studio The Weinstein Co. a little financial relief. Basterds‘ opening far surpasses Tarantino’s previous best opener, Kill Bill Vol. 2, which brought in $25 million in April 2004.

The critical question now is how Basterds will hold up during the next few weeks. Since Weinstein only has domestic rights to the movie–Universal Pictures holds international–a large overall gross stateside is mandatory for the company.

Warner Bros. had a much harder time with its release Shorts from auteur Robert Rodriguez. Opening to only $6.6 million, the PG-rated kid flick landed in a weak 6th place finish for its opening frame. The only other new release to reach the top ten was Fox Searchlight’s post-college flick Post Grad starring Alexis Bledel. Despite opening in 1,959 locations, the film grossed only an estimated $2.8 million for the three days.

Among holdovers. District 9 did incredibly well considering Basterds was angling directly for its male audience. The $30 million sci-fi movie from newcomer Neil Blomkamp dropped a scant 49% to $18.9 million putting its total ten day gross at an impressive $73 million. G.I. Joe also hung in for its third week in theaters. The high-octane actioner fell only 44% to $12.5 million. It’s three-week cume now stands at $120 million. Female moviegoers helped keep The Time Traveler’s Wife and Julie & Julia in the top five. Time Traveler dropped only 46% to $10 million its second week putting its ten-day gross at $37.4 million while Julie & Julia fell only 25%, which is remarkable considering the movie is in its third week of release. Grossing $9 million for the three days, the Meryl Streep, Amy Adams two-hander has now earned $59 million total.

Thanks to the strong opening of Basterds and the solid hold of the incumbent films, the box office was up 26% compared to the same time last year. It’s the third week in a row the box office was up after four weekends of unimpressive results. Next weekend’s horror mash-up of Halloween II and The Final Destination 3-D should yield some positive results too.

Pitt on mayoral run: ‘I don’t have a chance’

Brad Pitt hasn’t thrown his hat in the ring to be mayor of his adopted hometown, New Orleans. Others have done that for him, launching a grassroots campaign complete with nifty T-shirts touting “Brad Pitt for Mayor.”

But he’s more than willing to serve, the actor told TODAY’s Ann Curry with a self-deprecating laugh.

“If chosen, would you run?” Curry asked in the prerecorded interview that ran Thursday.

“Yeah,” Pitt said.

“Would you serve?”

“Yeah. I’m running on the gay marriage, no religion, legalization and taxation of marijuana platform,” he joked.

There is nothing boring about this couple.

At Monday night’s L.A. premiere of Quentin Tarantino’s Nazi-killing flick “Inglourious Basterds,” Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt dished about their active love life, their twins and the possibility of marriage.

When asked about the secret grotto that Pitt, 45, labeled “a great place for sex” in a recent interview for Parade, Jolie told Extra, “Yeah, well, we got a few special places. You keep it going.”

But there seems to be little hope that the star couple will tie the knot anytime soon.

Pitt vowed to honor his previous statement to Esquire magazine that he wouldn’t wed Jolie until all couples were allowed to marry legally in the United States.

“I did say that,” he said. “So now I’m stuck with it.”

However Jolie doesn’t seem to mind the wait since the actor recently called her his “soulmate.”

She replied, “That is very cool. Well, he’s mine. It is what it is.”

The 34-year-old actress, clad in a skin-tight black leather dress, also mentioned that their twins, who celebrated their first birthday in July, had finally taken their first steps.

Brad Pitt, Quentin Tarantino Enjoy Surreal ‘Inglourious Basterds’ Premiere

HOLLYWOOD — “Inglourious Basterds” is a film about a group of sadistic soldiers who conspire to slaughter the audience during the first screening of a movie. It’s also Quentin Tarantino’s love letter to the power of the cinema. It seems only natural, then, that the two biggest movie stars in the world would attend the Monday premiere of a movie about a movie premiere.

“Interesting, I didn’t put that together,” Brad Pitt grinned on the red carpet at the Mann Chinese Theatre, moments before grabbing Angelina Jolie to head inside. “That’s surreal. I’m going to go have a little ‘Nam flashback now!”
